History

The Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre was officially opened on November 25th, 2004.

"Believe it!" has been the catchphrase behind the construction of the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre and has kept the community focused on achieving the most important piece of social infrastructure that the community has undertaken to date.

The Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre has been a dream of its Municipal leaders for twenty years. Now, with the support of all levels of government, business and industry, the community, and tireless volunteer involvement, it is a reality.
