Public Skating

Please note: Schedule runs approximately October to March. Check for opening dates.

2026-27 Season begins after Thanksgiving on October 13th.

Some dates may be excluded during tournaments and holidays. Please check our Facebook and website for the most up-to-date information. Additional public skates may also be added throughout the season.

There is no public skating on holidays, school breaks, cancellations or in-service days.

There is no public skating when a hockey tournament is scheduled.

PUBLIC SKATING RULES:

All patrons who participate in on-ice activities must respect the following rules (subject to changes or updates without notice). No respecting the rules may result in removal from the facility at the discretion of arena staff.

–All patrons must wear skates and a CSA approved hockey helmet while on the ice surface

-We will not tolerate any physical or verbal abuse toward staff

-No food or drink on the ice surface

-Absolutely no horseplay/games or throwing items of any kind

-No skating backwards

-No figure skating maneuvers

-No erratic/excessive speed skating

-No balls, pucks, chairs or strollers, sticks or other items that may interfere with safety, and at the discretion of arena staff

-No headsets, cell phones or hand held electronics, and no filming other skaters

-No carrying of children and no stepping onto the ice surface without skates

-Children under 5 must have an adult (18+) on the ice with them

-No sitting on the boards

-Skate in the same direction as other skaters

-Appropriate conduct at all times

-Respect property of the PHCC, including helmets
